One of the biggest problems has been the methods used to "display" these items, let alone the poor selection. After my last shopping experience I thought I had struck gold, but, alas, I was mistaken. After about a month there was no support left. I knew that I would have to go back to the under wire torture devices that I have been wearing for years. As I recall I threatened to go to Lane Bryant.
Well, my friends, I did. I even waited 3 months to report this because I wasn't sure if the new garments would turn into torture devices or not. THEY DIDN'T!To start, I went into the store with low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. There were fashionably dressed young women working there who were shaped a lot like me. I was shown to the undies area and was very surprised to see the selection. I didn't even have to stand on my head to see what was offered. And friends, there was actually a selection of styles and colors to choose from. Color me happy. I was able to find what I wanted, not just what I needed. The ladies were pleasant and helpful, and understanding of my problems. I actually had help.
My concern over high prices was overblown. Yes they were a bit more expensive then I was used to , but in the past I got what I paid for, and they were having a by-one-get-one-1/2 price sale.
I have been happily wearing these new bras for the past 3 months. Yes I wash them by hand, but it only takes a few minutes and they still look like new. They are constructed in a way that keeps me from getting "poked" in various places and they are actually comfortable.
One thing I neglected to mention, they actually have pretty underwear that matches, or not, the bras. Pretty colorful, patterned or plain , lace or cotton, you name it. WOW!
So ladies, if you find yourself in the vicinity of a Lane Bryant, stop in and see what they have, you just might find something that you like. I did, and I will be going back, and not just for the undies.

Lane Bryant will only hire employees if they can fit into their clothes. If you "shrink" out of their clothes, they really do not like it. My MIL was let go after she "shrank" out of their clothes with no indication of going back into them
Amen!!!I went to Lane Bryant Cacique bras 9 years ago, padded plunge cotton ones. The MOST comfortable bras EVER. I will NEVER go back! Then a few years ago I discovered the undies. I am a cotton girl and my poor hubby was relieved to see something besides white "granny" panties for once! Whenever there's a sale there I am!
