Many of you have your holiday traditions, we have only one. Every year for the past ten years or so we have put Arlo Gutherie's "Alice's Restaurant" on the music player, what ever it happens to be. We have the LP and the CD, we once had the cassette, but we got rid of that and the player.
It is a relevant song at any time of the year, but we play it today, as a reminder to play it today. We even provided the Kaos family with a copy, I believe the Droid Whisperer household has a copy too. Why do we listen to this every year? We like it, and most years we know that our kids will listen to it on this day also. Although 1500 miles separate us at times, it is something we can do "together".
